Description
Thumbs climbs the arete and the face to its right, a few feet to the right of Strawberry Jam. The crux move was baffling to me until a local gave me the beta, and then I understood why it was called Thumbs.
Around 1980 Hugh Herr did a top rope problem to the right of Strawberry Jam and thought it was 5.12. This may climb the face between Thumbs and Strawberry Jam. I suspect that this is an independent line, since no one thought that Thumbs was 5.12.
