Description Suggest change

This little fella has some very secure jugs and pockets to practice your balance and footwork. Start with your right hand on a high jug and your left in a little side-pull pocket where you might get kissed by a silverfish (maybe blow the bugs outta there first). Put your left foot on a jutting out ledge low down under the overhang. Flag underneath your left leg with your right or match if you don’t have freakishly big dogs. Then, get your left foot up above the crest into the big cavity and match your hands to the high jug. Mantle the crest and grab a pointy handle with your left hand to pull your right foot above the crest. The rest is a short ladder up to the top out!

Location Suggest change

Relatively obvious little inlet in the large overhanging rock 2/3 of the way down the beach from the wooden stairs entrance of Blowing Rocks Preserve.

Protection Suggest change

Nothing needed. Just be careful with sharp edges in the rock and downclimb slowly or walk around to get down when you’re done.
