Description Suggest change

This stunning, singular grey tufa called to me the moment I saw it.

Scramble into a corner and navigate an awkward tufa lieback to reach better holds over a bulge.  Some easy slab moves deposit you on a shelf below the steep headwall where you can easily clip the first bolt in the roof.

Lieback the huge tufa snake and commit to a the crux sequence of kneebars, poor pinches and slopers to reach the an extremely heady, difficult second clip.  Don't blow this clip or you could hit the slab below.

Above the second bolt, better holds appear and if you have some energy, you can grab a strenuous rest out left.  Make a few more puzzling tufa moves to gain jugs to the top.

Don't be surprised if this thing feels a stout compared to other 12c's in the area.  Apparently, this was one of the first "hard" routes at Geyikbeyeri and the locals intentionally sandbagged it so Euros wouldn't show up and think the Turks were weak.  Hence the name.

Location Suggest change
