Description
This is the infamous route with plastic jugs bolted on it and everyone seems to have an opinion about it. Regardless of the questionable ethics the holds are there and they are not going anywhere for the forseeable future. You might as well swallow your pride and enjoy a pretty fun climb. Also it's on private property so it's none of your business anyway.
Anyway the climb starts with a few 5.9/5.10 moves upo to a nice rest before the overhang. Be aware that the overhang is a complete 180 degree overhang. After you clip the second bolt on the overhang, consider hanging on the rope and unclipping the first bolt on the overhang. The rope drag is heinous and cleaning that bolt is really hard. There is no pretty way to top out the route. Enjoy a gross mantle with a lot of lichen and flailing legs. You'll also discover that there are no bolts above the overhang. The moves aren't hard but there is a lot of lichen and a slip would lead to a crazy whipper. There are also no chains on the anchors so prepare for that.
