A pair of golden eagles regularly nest on Bridge Creek Wall. When in effect, starting January 1, PLEASE DO NOT CLIMB or travel within 1/2 mile of Bridge Creek Wall. As a reference, the climb Condorphamine Addiction is just outside of this 1/2 mile buffer, and is OK to climb still. The closure extends through August 15, but there is active monitoring to determine if the seasonal closure can be lifted earlier.
In 2014, there was an active pair of peregrine falcons at Snow Creek Wall, but no official closure was put in effect due to the location of the falcons. The site will be continually monitored with changes or removal of closures updated as necessary.
"The landowner has escalated to posting his own "No Parking" signs, and leaving threatening notes on vehicles stating that people will be towed (friends got one over the weekend). Access Fund, Mountaineers, and WCC have consulted with the county and the county says it is legal to park there and asked that any confrontations or threats from the owner get reported to the Chelan county sheriff."
Description
A unique line for the area.
Start sitting in the pit, bear down on some sharp crimps, and move up to some big lock-offs. Taller folks will find not dabbing might be the crux since they can't simply reach their way to the top (burn).
Shorter folks will enjoy one of the rare problems where being short is an advantage.
The landing has two tiers and if you pad it right, the topout feels kinda casual since you've basically climbed to a second landing so if you biff the heel hook mantle, you only fall about 5 feet or so.
