Turtle Proof

This line shares the same start as Br'er Turtle. After you get up the initial finger crack corner and situated on the ledge, climb up left rather than right like you would for Br'er Turtle.  Sling these pieces (#2,#3, or #4) long to keep drag down for the end.  Get established on a scrunched ledge below a large roof with a wave-like undercling crack system. This scrunched ledge has a section of poor rock quality and vegetation. Work out the undercling roof with finger sized cams (sling these long as well) to the lip.  

*note - at the end of the undercling crack system, the last 1'-2' at the lip is a hollow sounding section (when tapped with hammer) that I suggest not placing gear in.  You can get a bomber (#.3,#.4,#.5) before the obvious thin seam/fratcure that separates that last chunk of rock from the rest of the roof.  It felt and appeared solid enough to climb on, but it’s something to be aware of.

Once you get to the lip of the undercling you reach up to some good holds and join the final roof sequence of Br'er Turtle.
