Description Suggest change

Formerly known by a different name (W.G.), this route climbs a the left side of the major gully directly above the start of the FSR.

There are two independent lines, both on the left side of the canyon. Wingman climbs the lower angle pillar on the left to where the ice narrows next to a small roof, past this is a lower angle ramble and then thin ice up the left wall to one final step and a sheltered belay in a bit of a cave.

Rappel 60 meters on a v thread or continue up the thin ice/rock step at the top onto Bushido WI3+ above.

Location Suggest change

Wingman is found directly above the start of the Hunter Creek FSR, you should be able to easily see if it's in from the road and parking area. Scramble directly up the gully from the road, depending on conditions the approach can take from 15 minutes to an hour of post holing.

Protection Suggest change

Standard ice rack.
