Description Suggest change

‘The Peephole Direct project’ that Jimmy Webb dispatched on his first visit to Leavenworth. He left in his wake a few new hard classic lines over the years including this one, ‘Mad Bush’, ‘Drawn and Quartered’, and ‘Slingblade sit’ to name a few. He also flashed most of the hardest existing lines at the time as well as climbing ‘The Penrose Step’ for its second ascent.

This climb starts on ‘the peephole’ jug and moves directly up the face above via strenuous underclings and a big move to a decent edge high on the face, finishing out right. The original beta was given V13 and likely has not been repeated in that fashion. Ben Herrington unlocked a tricky heel sequence and micro crimp version for the second ascent that has settled the grade at V11-12.

On the Peephole boulder. Just left of the teardrop overhang of the eponymous line. Finishes up and right.
