Description
This is the problem for which the area gets its name. The boulder seeming like a huge beached whale (Baleine - French for Whale) holds many great problems. La Baleine starts just under the overhang and makes it's first move to a jug rail low on the face, climb left then set up and make a huge lunge for a slopper on top. The crux is scrapping your way to the top over that beached whale.
