Access Issue: Potentially private property Details

There is an old water tank above the road, below the Heavy Metal Wall, with a No Trespassing sign on it. Although this wall is 150m from the water tank, it's possible this is considered part of that property. There is no parking at the start of the approach but a short hike along the road gets you there if you drive, bikes are easily stashed.

Description

Starts on flakes and hand cracks, into a couple of cruxes through discontinuous flares and cracks and then to a ramp system that trends right to share the topout with Heavy Metal. A few lead bolts would make the route safe to lead although, with intimate knowledge of the route, it's possible to lead the pitch "safely."

Location

Left of Heavy Metal, obvious hand cracks for the first 20. Access to the top is found via easy scrambling up the right side of the crag on a ramp system. A large tree sits above the tops of both established routes.
