Description Suggest change

The slabby counterpart to Steven's other FA on the same boulder, Treeage shares a common start with Heelside (V5) on the undercling sloper section. Rather than cutting right after the start, cut left towards the slab. Navigate vertical slots and slopey pockets to a standing rest about midway up the arete on the right side. The climbing eases off at the top, but a fall could be sketchy with the ground sloping downhill and the tree for which the route is named.

Location Suggest change

Downhill behind Le Beak on the Fin Boulder. Two current routes are visible from the Le Beak/Mikey's Corridor area (Tweak the Beak is one). Once by the boulder, go right around the back side of the boulder. A large undercling feature will be jutting out at you- that's the start for both Treeage and Heelside.

Protection Suggest change

Several pads.
