Description Suggest change

This is a splitter boulder problem beginning with tight fingers on slightly slabby terrain, then slowly kicking back and widening until a small bulge where it turns to tight/thin hands. Really awesome finger locks in the middle third of the problem. Have attentive spotters and a well-thought out plan for your pads, because a fall from the top WILL hurt (about a 20+ foot fall, unless you fall into the pit on your left...). Harder and scarier for people with big paws. This thing is classic, with fun movement, good rock, an engaging mental crux, exhilarating for the grade, aesthetic and amazing views from the top out.

Note, I believe this was originally led on gear, but this is way, way better as a boulder problem! The current names are just placeholders.

Location Suggest change

Take the main road for about a half mile. At a big bend, there is a trail with a massive boulder that splits from the main road. Take this trail that joins with the MTB trail, then when the MTB trail curves around the boulders, cut onto a climber's trail at the apex of the curve. GPS coordinates are: 39.3395130, -105.2680610. It faces south.

Protection Suggest change

Pads and spotters. 3+ pads would be ideal. Falling near the roof will likely land you a trip to the hospital.
