Description Suggest change

Great line that does have avalanche concerns in the right conditions from the gully above. It looks like there may be more ice to climb 200 meters higher than where we typically rap down. If the pillar is lean you can climb up to the base in one pitch and trend up and left through ice flows on the left.

Location Suggest change

3 km on the road. When you get to the sign you will have a great view of the ice on the east side of the valley. Popsicle Pete’s pillar is found by hiking up the slope for about five minutes on the west side of the road. The pillar can be seen after a couple of minutes of hiking up the slope.
