Description

Bolted on lead in a hail storm, some of the clipping stances are awkward down low, but once through the third bolt the climbing moves right and eases up to enjoyable movements and a beautiful view from the top.

Protection

Steel lower-off biners.

Despite the close bolting it's sometimes difficult to discern which way the route goes which is not so much a reflection of this route but more the nature of 5.10 quartzite climbing. And hey, we all need a good warm-up for body and mind and this route delivers. 15 bolts + chain anchors Aug 9, 2018
