Access Issue: No bolting allowed - on the archaeological sites (pictographs)

Per Nimetz: unfortunately, Cube Rock is an archaeological site. I chanced upon a BLM archaeologist and BLM law enforcement agent while bouldering at Sailing Hawks. The two agents were very concerned about the new bolts on the looker's right on the south face.
Per Luke Mehall: since the original access note was incorporated, there are pictographs on the front side of the rock, which are now fenced off for protection. The rest of the climbs on the rock are away from the pictographs and have been accepted as legitimate routes that are enjoyed by the community.
The Durango Climbers Coalition has done work with the City of Durango and the BLM on this subject.

Protection
A single set, heavy on finger pieces. Look for threads and horns. Place gear in pockets on better rock, and a nut tool is helpful for the deep threads.... Unique. Build an anchor just over the headwall with medium stoppers and small cams.
Per Spencer Cone: there are 8 bolts and a 2 bolt anchor.
