Description Suggest change

Crux is the first few moves off the ground. Due to precarious footing, a stick clip isn't a bad idea.

Once you surmount the slightly over-hanging start, things turn slabby. Overall this slabby stuff is a lot easier than the beginning, but the climbing isn't trivial, and there's some serious space between some of the bolts!

Location Suggest change

This route's way up at the top of the canyon, on the south side. (Number 43 on the paper map/index.) There are two routes to the right of it -- Devil's Got Your Number (5.10C) and Hell Raiser (5.11C).

Protection Suggest change

Bolts and one optional small/medium cam or nut for the especially long run-out up high. Chain anchors at the top.
