A tall proud line on the north east side of the boulder. Start sitting on a good jug rail, and climb directly up the face using crimps and slopers, to an intimidating top out. The old supertopo guide says V3, but I thought this thing was very hard for the grade.

northeast face of the Mushroom Cap, furthest right problem.

This is a truly stellar problem, perhaps one of the best of the grade in Tahoe. It's tall, clean, obvious, aesthetic, scary, and fun. I didn't think the moves were much harder than V3, at least if they were off the ground instead of 15 feet up, but that being said, if someone told me it was a 4 I wouldn't have argued after doing it.
