Description

Beautiful sculpted holds on steep face. One big (height-dependent) move.

Location

In the middle of the main face on the Mutton Block.

Protection

6 bolts to anchors.

This route could really be re-bolted. The 5th bolt (I think) is in a very dangerous spot. It’s not unlikely that the carabiner’s gate could be forced open (happened to me) due to it being loaded while rubbing against the rock. Even if the gate stays closed it could break or damage your carabiner.

Also the right bolt at the anchor was loose when I was up there last, October 2018. Nov 12, 2018
I would appreciate it if you did not change the bolts on this route. It has had numerous ascents, and subsequent falls without incident.
