The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.

Description
Start roughly 15 feet to the right of the base of the ramp that accesses Dangling Participles below an obvious, vertical crack.
Jam up the crack to a ledge (optional belay here), then climb another clean crack on the left to the top of the formation.
