Kelly Canyon is a sandstone climbing area and the rock is very fragile when wet. Be aware of recent weather and ask a local if you are unsure of conditions. Do not climb for at least a day following rainfall. Do not climb on rock that is visibly moist or seeping.
With wildfire risks at an all time high, I wanted to add this notice so people will know. Please review the restrictions and report any suspicious activity and illegal campfires to the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency number 928-774-1414 ext. 0. Sounds like full closures may be implemented soon.

Description
Start between two trees on good, slightly sloping rails. Move up and right to a sloping jug, then left to a nice side-pull. A pocket above the side-pull gains access to the bulging lip and a good right hand edge. Find another good left hand edge further up the lip and top out.
