Access Issue: Echo Canyon Seasonal Closure: Jan. 1 - second Saturday in April Details

Description [Suggest Change]

Climb up to a large hueco to clip the first bolt, pull the bulge after that, then up to a huge pocket with an interesting pinch/undercling to get over the next bulge. Then meander right and up to the chains. My favorite route on this wall.

Location [Suggest Change]

Fourth route from the left

Protection [Suggest Change]

10 bolts and chains. There is another bolt above the chains, I think it was put in for use bolting the route, after that bolt is the top of the wall which is flat dirt and one could just walk off.

Fun line with a good set-up for a "punch it" moment to get over the bulge, then perhaps the crux higher up. May 28, 2015
