Description Suggest change

P1: 5.10b (probably) - Traverses straight left from Obstinada's anchors and then climbs up an ever steepening face to nice belay ledge on the left.

P2: 5.10d - This is the money pitch with awesome exposure and great movement traversing up and right across tufas. Your second needs to climb this pitch and clean the quickdraws. Either belay from the anchor and rap off or have your second lower you to one of the anchors near the top of Obstinada and belay from there. Note a FULL 70m rope is needed to rap off, or two ropes.

Location Suggest change

See the diagram. Climb the first pitch of Obstinada to access a ledge. Aim for the second route to the left on this ledge. (Obstinada continues straight up, while Pan con Queso is the first route to your left.)

Protection Suggest change

P1: 11 bolts to anchor.

P2: 9 bolts to anchor.
