Description

Might be a decent route if it had more traffic. The rock is a bit chossy around the last two bolts where it gets a bit slabby.

Location

The west face of the pincer. Starts right next to (right side) of the fallen tree resting on the rock.

Protection

9 bolts to anchors

First bolt and last 2 bolts are definitely the hardest part of the route. Stout for the grade, but not terrible. Jul 28, 2014

Really enjoyed this route, the downed tree adds some nice spice around the 4th and 5th bolt. Definitely felt more like 10c! Jun 29, 2015

Crux is between the 7th and 8th bolt. there is literally nothing there. However super fun climb. First bolt is real sketchy is your short, but if you have long arms youll be able to reach it by wedging yourself between the rock with the downed tree and the actual route. May 11, 2016

This is an interesting route. It's really tough for the first two bolts, difficult to just get on the route. Eases up above that and theres some really fun climbing on some really interesting rock features. Then, it gets really hard again right below the last bolt, falling on this bare slab section would probably feel like sliding down a cheese grader. Fun route that takes some calm thinking and a steady clipping hand in the crux sections. I would definitely do it again. Aug 17, 2016
