Description

Quality line of SWPA gritstone. A short but very fun route. Worth getting on despite its short nature. Several committing moves put you at the tricky top out. Commit to the finishing move and success is yours. Highly recommend. One of the best 3 bolt routes in SWPA.

Location

Bolted route just left of breakdown between left and right cliffs at River's End. Lower from rap station above "Itchy Algae"

Protection

3 bolts, lower from rap anchor at tree above. This anchor is shared with "Itchy Algae" 5.10+

Although short, this was a great little route. If you're in the area and climbing similar grades it's a must. May 26, 2014

Too bad about the climb's length -- this was some of the best rock quality in the area.

Also, some individual(s) needlessly scrawled 'bad anchors' in chalk at the climb's base. The anchor is perfectly fine, but it's not meant for toproping (single thick cord with a brand new rap ring). You will need to sling the tree for your own anchor if you want to TR. Apr 7, 2013
