Ventenata dubia (north Africa grass) was identified at and around Lava Point last fall. So far, this is the only documented site on the entire 4.2 million acres of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest with this invasive species.

It appears that the Rimrock Fire burned through the Tieton. If anyone has updates, please post them in the comments. Until then, consider climbing elsewhere.
