Description [Suggest Change]

This is the "easy way out." A scrambling start leads to a short crack, which is the 5.6 crux. The upper half is a mellow finish to the top. Watch out for loose rock.

Location [Suggest Change]

This is the first route on the left of the wall. See the beta photo.

Protection [Suggest Change]

Plenty of gear.

Climbed on 12/3/2017. Recommend taking a left at the slight overhang to keep on the 5.6 rating. If you go right and stem up that wall, it gets into 5.8 territory. Lots of loose rock, since it's a relatively unused route. Belayers should wear helmets and be prepared to dodge. No anchors up top. We were able to sling a large boulder at the top to use for a toprope set up. My partner also rapped down using a tree, but rope drag prevented us from pulling the rope down after, so we had to hike up to retrieve it. Dec 6, 2017
