Start at the right edge of the white Quartz looking Arete left of "Black Crack". Crack. Climb the arete to easier finish.

10' left of Black Crack

Will need to be creative to run TR. A good length of Static line (for distant trees) can be essential.

There is a tiny plastic ninja near the top of this climb, with his feet glued to a small ledge, very amusing to see. This climb is pretty fun, and the roof section at the end provides a nice finish. Definitely easier than Black Crack, but worth climbing. Jun 29, 2014

first section is similar to black crack in terms of difficulty and good times, but then it backs off. Sep 29, 2015

Definitely a lot easier than a 5.8 unless I missed something.

Offset master cams help protect the lower section to get to the traverse. Nov 2, 2015

I found this route to be a lot more fun if I consistently looked for a slightly harder move to make (still juggy, just deeper movements). Very easy moves exist throughout the climb if you go to one or the other side of the arete. Sep 25, 2017
