Description

Pump through the steep face to the right of "Black Crack" then join back up with the route at the end.

Location

Steep face to right of "Black Crack".

Protection

Lead: Sm to MD cams. LG cams for anchor. Great placements on solid rock.

TR: You may need to be creative to run TR. A good length of Static line (for distant trees) can be essential.

For what it's worth, the guidebook describes this line as finishing to the right of the overhangs at the top, not joining Black Crack to the left. Feb 12, 2017

Rad route. The guidebook says "reachy crux" which is spot on. I TR'd it based on the "R" rating but it looked like the crux would be well protected. Maybe next time! Sep 23, 2018
