Description

Wander up the slabby, plated face passing several horizontals which accept gear.

Location

Left of center on the south face between Fixed Carbon and Ground Control.

Protection

3 bolts, gear to 3", 2 bolt anchor/rap

The anchor situation at the top of this route needs some attention; One bolt (with a rap ring) is bent nearly flat, and the other bolt is loose (the bolt itself, not just the nut), with a fully rusted chain. The anchor just to the right, above Angle of Repose, also has one bent bolt and one fully rusted chain, although those bolts are firm. I know this area isn't visited frequently, but if anyone in the area has the means to replace this, it should probably be done sooner than later. May 29, 2018
