Climb up the south-west arete. This is a high ball so be careful. Great climbing that should not be missed!!!

The best way to get to "The Spire" is to park in the upper or second parking lot. Take the "Bluebird Meadow Trail" EAST to it's junction with "The Silver Fox Trail." At this junction continue east on the "Silver Fox Trail" until you run into the "Ponderosa Trail." Once these two trials meet follow the "Ponderosa about 50 or so yards while looking up hill in a North/Easterly direction. "The Spire" should soon come into view. Then it's climb time.

Pads and a spotter.

Bring a few pads, the crux is one move from the top. Aug 29, 2009
