Description

Start under the roof on low jugs. Then work your way out on the right side of the roof through marvelous slopers, open hand crimps and a sick toe hook.

The first crux is in the middle when bumping from sloper to sloper. The real crux is the top out though.

Location

The most prominant problem on the frontside of the Orb boulder, under the roof.

Protection

A crash pad or two.

I found a heel hook to be the key. The topout really is the redpoint crux. I fell off of the mantel when I was sure the send was in the bag. After 20 or so tries, I did not have any more skin, power or time. Rematch necessary. Jan 28, 2011

Crux, for me, was matching crack hold, cutting feet and staying on the wall. Mantle is rough too...don't take it for granted, get it wired. Feb 13, 2013

So the only person to not give it 4 stars was the one who failed to send? Interesting. Nov 28, 2013

Holden...you didn't climb The Orb, you didn't rate it, you gave it no stars, but you weighed in with a comment on someone that was in the ballgame, from the cheap seats. Lame! Aug 24, 2015
