Description

The lefthand bolt line. Boulder up 5.10 rock to a large ledge. Place a few wires and climb up past 3 homemade aluminum hangers to an anchor in need of replacement (better to rap off Crotchbound's cold shuts).

Protection

Draws & a couple wires.

I think there are only one set of anchors for both routes. Good climb, but 90+ temps and direct sun were not conducive to fun times. Stay left at start (not onto green lichen face and crack). Jul 14, 2014

putting aside the very cold temps, the wind, and the snow flakes falling on us...this route was awesome. The holds were all positive and quite large are an .11. but the overhanging nature of it made it a challenge.

I didn't see any anchors at the top of this one, so I climbed to the top and then traversed over to hook into the anchors for Crotchbound. Jun 10, 2012

The routes at PI are awesome. Could be my favorite at the city. Yes the start is bouldery but it is The City and the PG-13 is not needed. It's a bit scary but not deserving of a safety rating. Beware of the cows and bulls up there . . . got chased up to the upper platform on the routes by an angry bull May 1, 2011
