Sit start, then work up the right side of this face while doing a couple of cool dynos. The arete to the right is off.

Sit start on an obvious fat rail, with your left foot on a foot rail that is about knee height and your right foot on a good foot that is just off the ground. Get your right hand to the jug pinch that is on the arete, then get your left hand onto a quartz/white side-pull/undercling that is in the middle of the face. Go straight up from here, avoiding the arete and using the crimps and the left-hand flat jug that are in the middle of the face. Don't fall off the top. That would not feel good.

Also, this thing feels like v7 to me. i am shorter than hirsch, though. it seems like this rig is less powerful for taller folks. Oct 1, 2012
