Description

Upon entering the collection of rocks (Eagle's Peak Area) at the top of the trail, head left and around the corner to gaze upon this steep, slightly overhanging hand crack. Great moves, another recommended Dixon route.

Protection

TR bolts, 3 pieces for a lead.

Really fun. I used to solo this back in the day. But then several times in a row there was a bee hive all the base and that ruined it. Nov 28, 2008

BEES!
But if you stay on the boulder to the right you are ok to belay from there. Don't let the bees sway you from trying this fun problem. Jun 22, 2013

I'm generally not spooked by BEES but they seemed awfully spirited when I approached the start today. Perhaps if they are napping on our next visit I'll give it a go. Jan 16, 2015

THE area sandbag. Nice varied movement and worth doing but nothing to write home about really. Besides the bees mentioned below, I saw a large rattlesnake at the base of this once. Jun 3, 2018
