Pass the Sputnik Boulder like you are going up to the main area for the Lower Satellites and the Third Flatiron. Do a big S-turn past some other boulders and you will come to a fork in the trail. Go left towards the main Satellites area and the huge wall immediately on your left is The Wave.

High Frequency ascends the right side of The Wave's massive west face about ten feet left of Making Waves and Catching Waves, both of which start low on the southwest corner. Look for a prominent ledge system about 10 feet up and 4 feet from the top. Climb straight toward the ledge sytem and over.

Did anyone else who did this find the slippery pebble to be used as a high, left, first step? Shifting my weight onto this made the difference. Jul 19, 2009
