DescriptionPass the Sputnik Boulder like you are going up to the Lower Satellites. Instead of going left up the trail next to the huge wall known as The Wave, turn up the right fork of the trail like you are going to the base of The Second Flatiron.
On your left after about 30 feet, just before the Blastoff Boulder, is a short north-facing overhang with an obvious hand traverse that arches up and left. As obvious as the line is, the whole wall covered in dead tree limbs and infested with dead brown lichen when I first started trying to see if there were any holds underneath the debris.
Mission Control begins low on the far right, right next to the Blastoff Boulder. Hand traverse up and left 10-plus feet to the corner and pull over onto the top. Vary the difficulty by either using heel-hooks the whole way (V1) or not at all (V3). Enjoy.
