I won't agree, I think it was easier than Drowning Baby Fish next to it. The holds are there. But yeah, especially if you aren't used to climbing Maple, its porbably 5.7+. May 28, 2013

First climb in Maple, seems like 5.8. Much harder than all of the 5.7's next to it. Small, hard to find holds. Sep 9, 2012
i would say 5.8

I agree that this climb feels a bit hard for a 5.7, but not hard enough to call it an 8. I found myself a bit intimidated feeling for holds over the slight bulge (I am not tall), but they are definitely there. Sep 13, 2011
Thought it was a tad harder than a 5.7 Aug 5, 2008

Do I dare say that this seemed harder than 5.7? Or is that only because it was my first climb in Maple Canyon? hmmm... for a moment I thought I was in the Needles of South Dakota. Sep 5, 2004
