Description
This climb is on the steep face on the upper rock above a 4th class gully and above all the moderate crack climbs. You can place good pro in the crack below the steep face prior to the first bolt. 3 bolts lead you up the steep face. Small, fingery, face moves up solid rock bring you to the top.
Protection
Three Ti glue-in bolts to a four-bolt anchor (clip the Ti bolt and the better-looking SS bolt).
Couple of small pieces (.1-.3) protect the beginning.
(The Original Rawl bolts have been removed. The Titanium bolts are now the only choice on the face. The original bolts, although showing corrosion on the bolt heads, had full thickness in sheer and resisted outward pull in excess of a sewn runner. The original bolts in the anchor cluster have been left in situ to supplement the 2015 Titanium glue in and 2018 1/2 stainless. Mark Howe - 9/18/2025)
