Getting there: Look for this quartzite rock on the main ridge and turn right. It's about a foot tall and marks the spur trail that leads down the hill to the Amphitheater descent gully.

View into the Amphitheater from the rappel gulley. This is a beautiful if intimidating place to climb out from. Respect.

Downclimb these 2 boulders (V0—, V-ladder) to continue on to the rappel bolts in the gully.

Rappel from the rear of the Mummy Buttress through the side gully. Takes a single rap of a short rope (50, 60, 70m)
