In the trough at the top of pitch 1. You can get to the ridge in two long pitches. The pitch up the trough from here to the ridge is very easy, almost no hands.

The so-called "weakness" you're looking for. There are great foot holds to step around it. Note the trees.

The cable and sling anchor was removed, and a permitted two bolt rap anchor was installed 10' south at the same large stance where Baker's Way intersects the North Arete. This anchor replacement was reviewed and permitted by OSMP and installed by BCC/FCC.
