That butte is its own topo map! Astounding view from Led by Sheep.

Now I know where they got the name from. Pic was taken on the 2nd rap.

This is shot from the top of the route and shows roughly the path that hikers should take to get to the base. The start is actually a bit to the left of where I drew the circle. Sorry for the terrible handwriting too...

At the top found a notebook with handwritten names & messages from climbers that made it there before, a polaroid picture, and this cool rock.

Coming through the saddle on the initial approach.

All the belay stations were as bomber as the one pictured!!

The initial sandy approach gully coming from the road. On the return we stayed higher up on the formation and stayed out of the sand.

We didn't find any bushes around, but we reckoned you can start at this bomber ring and belay from it. First bolt is visible from here and is approx. 30 feet directly above.
