Highline'in. The first step is a doosey.

This is where the approach trail begins off the Lily Ridge Trail. Leave the established trail, and veer steeply uphill and to the right here. There may be a cairn (as pictured) as well.

This is a shot from the side on a climb up in Jurassic Park that shows a great view of Longs. I can't remember the climb at this time that we where on but will up date ASAP :)

Here's a track of the alternate FS approach that avoids NPS land, as recorded on the US topo maps app. Not at all sustainable, but maybe pertinent (and helpful) to previous discussions.
