The line of Sweet Crude (aka Smooth Operator) on the south face o the Jackrabbit Buttress in Juniper Canyon.
Alternate Pitch 1 starts in crack behind scrub oak. Approx location of four protection bolts after traverse shown by "x" marks on photo. Ends at bolted anchor on comfy ledge (which is top of P2 in original description on this page and in Handren guide).
Hidden start (behind scrub oak cluster) to to Alternative Pitch 1.
