Hi, I've been trying to reach a few folks from the New Jack early-ish days. I've tried to reach them through this site, but without response. Maybe you can help me track them down for some FA info for a coming guidebook to the area? I'd like to chat with Jack Marshall, Sam Owings, Troy Mayr, Jordan Robbins, Bruce Binder, Geoff Fullerton.

Thanks for any info you can share!

Jack is on here, at times. Did you try him directly?

I climbed there with Paul Gagner in the early days and on side of a bunch of stuff there

We've not been able to reach Jack. It shows that he's active on here, but don't know if he's seen this post. He has an email listed under his personal information, but we've not gotten a reply from that address or from a direct message through this site. Perhaps you have contact info for him, or could give him a nudge to reach out?

I think the guide will be incomplete without his thoughts on the place, along with Sam's. Another guide I did (to the basalt crags around Flagstaff) is full of essays from the prominent climbers of different eras. Paul Davidson, Steve Grossman, Joel Unema and a bunch of other folks wrote about their experiences there. I think those accounts are invaluable.

At the least, I'd like to establish a decent timeline of FA activity in New Jack for this guide. In addition to the list above, I'd also like to reach Dan Eubanks. I've been told Bruce has since passed, but any leads to reach the other guys would be most appreciated.

Chris, I don't have Paul associated with any particular routes at New Jack. Maybe you or he could fill me in?

Thanks all.

Bruce Binder (aka Brutus of Wyde) passed away some years back.  Had no idea he was involved in New Jack development!
