Palisade Glacier Condition?

Has anyone put eyes on the Palisade Glacier recently? Trying to evaluate an approach for Mt. Sill described in this 2012 article by Jed Porter. If you've approached Sill this way I'd love to hear about it!

Sentinel Satellite imagery (from today Aug 18) suggests there is a fair bit of snow and ice (opposed to talus) left to cross. That said, there's still some ambiguity and the general consensus is that the glacier is receding rapidly.

I did find two recent social media posts showing the glacier.

We climbed the Swiss Arete on August 14th. There is a short, but required, snow crossing to get to glacier notch. Pic attached.

You could do this bit and the descent down the L couloir with no axe, but I would definitely have crampons.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
