I live south of Tucson, Arizona. Looking for people to train with down here. Been doing climbing for about a year now, have yet to lead. However, I do LOTS of bushwhacking and exploring. I also am doing hikes more regularly to build up my endurance for backcountry climbing. It's a bit old training by myself though. Would like to reach out and see who's down here south of Tucson.

Anybody South of Tucson in Arizona? Would like to get out and do some climbs as well as hikes.

I'm usually there when it's cool enough to climb. Always looking for people who don't mind a hike

Awesome, where are you normally at?

I'm headed out Saturday morning.

Climbing virgin rock wherever I can find it, but it's way too hot in S AZ this time of year. I'm currently checking out some rock north of Pine.

Gotchya, I've been helping a friend set new routes (I follow / am a tourist) in southern Arizona. However, I tend to loose approximately 10 lbs each time we go out in the heat. Takes me several days to recover and LOTS of food. Probably not healthiest thing I've done in my life. Need to improve my hot weather endurance.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
