Can't login on app version

I recently found that I can't login on the iphone app using the mountain project login email and pass that I've had for ages. I also don't want to lose all of my account history etc etc. I'm willing to make a onx account or whatever, but how do I link my accounts?

I'm not seeing a way to do this online or in the app. You'd think there'd be a button called "create and link onx account" or something when I'm logged in but apparently not. When I login on the computer it says "[checkmark] connected to onx maps". Yet on the iphone app it still says invalid whatever when I try to login using onx account and my password, or just "email" and my password.

I'm about to go on a trip and would really like to be able to use the mobile app again. I tried resetting my password at the advice of another thread but that didn't generate any link options etc.

Hi Bill,

Happy to help. Have you reset the password for you onX account yet? Using the MP app, you can tap the "Connect with onX" button and then the Forgot your password? link. Then input your email address that you use for MP and you'll receive an email to that address to reset your onX password. Then you should be able to use the "Connect with onX" login button, using your MP email address and whatever password you set up. 

If that doesn't work, there might be another issue. Let me know (zander@mountainproject.com).

Thanks Zander, eventually that worked. Really appreciate the help but certainly feel this "sync" process could be streamlined/made a lot more intuitive. I can't be the only one (and judging from the forums I'm not) that's had trouble with this.
