Device to disable drone to set up toprope

So that we're all prepared for the inevitable:

What would be the ideal device to disable a drone purposed for hanging topropes?

A rope thrown from above was proposed in a related post, but this would be slow to set up and have limited applications. I'm thinking the ideal device would be small, lightweight, and accurate enough to hit a bread box from 40 meters. Alternatively, it would allow the operator to take over control of the drone and crash it in an unpopulated area. Extra credit if it can also stream Ween into a stranger's bluetooth speakers.

Throw a rope ON it, from above.

Let cry:

Oops!

While I like the shotgun approach the FAA does not. More than one person has been arrested for such discharges. The best option is an errant rope toss.

Or ... Hear me out on this one, when you see a group at the crag that wants to challenge themselves on routes that are beyond the level they are comfortable leading, you could offer to hang a top rope for them. Especially if they are interested in a route you are in the process of finishing. No demand means no product.

What? Do you think this is SuperTopo or something?!

A few options that require bringing a robust slingshot along with you to the crag; although, ammo is plentiful:

Slingshot a boombox

Slingshot hammocks

Slingshot a didgeridoo

For the hardcore masochist, slingshot crag dogs

You're a bit late.  There's already a few purpose-built commercial solutions that have been on the market for a few years now, ie net launchers, drones with capture devices, signal jammers, etc.  They're mostly intended for airports and other restricted airspaces.

Mountain Project is all you need.  Shame, shame, shame that climber with their full name and photo until they never do it again.

Looking to invest in anti drone tech.  Can anyone recommend a good signal jammer?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
