Hey there! I’m on a mission to find a pair of 6000m boots- probably phantom 6000 or G2 evos. The problem is I live in AK and don’t have anywhere to try them on before I buy them (also trying to buy used). I’ve found only two pairs on marketplace, both size 40, one phantom and one G2s. My problem is I usually wear a women’s 7.5/8 or a 39– I’m worried these will be too big but have heard of people going up a size, especially in the phantoms. Wondering if anyone has any insights to what size they wear in phantoms or evos in relation to their regular shoe size? Or any thoughts about preference to one or the other. Anyone selling a pair of either?
Also no one has magically found an actual women’s mountaineering boot for 6000m right? Not surprising just totally lame.

just saw this question.
my wife wears a 41 in the 6000s, 42 in Laspo G-techs, and 42 in TC pros. she wanted something lighter than 6000s for cragging. we played the buy it from REI and return it sizing game
I recently bought the Phantom 6000s for high altitude (Aconcagua and potentially some 6000m peaks in Nepal and Peru). I deliberately sized up to 43 from my normal size 42 (I wear 42 in all La Sportiva, including the Nepal Cubes). I was coming from the La Sportiva Spantik in a 42.5. Having tried them on Rainier recently, I'm happy with the fit of the 43 and believe the extra room will be warmer. For some reason Scarpa doesn't do half sizes in this boot. If I were to buy the Phantom Techs for a more performance fit, I would get the 42. I'd say for double boots, going up one size is generally recommended.
