Is it too early for index and world wall?

Just got to Seattle, first spring in the Pnw. Been in ice all winter and tryna find some rock. How much sun does stuff need to dry out?

Depends on the route, how much it has been raining, and how much sun it is getting. Some seap all spring long, others seem to dry as soon as it stops raining, and many are climbable while wet.  Frequently if the crux is dry you can make due on the rest of the route. Stop by and see if you can climb with a backup hike planned in case you don't find anything you like.

Index sport dries out super fast as long as it's exposed; the cracks obviously take a couple more days. WW2 is climbable year round. WW1 will have a mix of dry and wet. Look for south-facing exposed walls. I use this website to guess where to go https://toorainy.com/

Yesterday was nice at world wall 2. I agree with Sage but would further elaborate that most the climbs listed as classic in index do not dry quickly. I do believe Climax control and cunning stunt dry quickly but every time I have been after lots of rain, I am always surprised and confused by what is and is not dry in index.
